The second episode of each month will feature a woman somehow involved in science fiction (writing, directing, makeup design, etc.) or STEM (science, technology, engineering, or math). It is a fun way to get to know the women who are active within the genre.
This month my guest is Kitty Swink, known by sci-fi fans for her work on various science fiction tv productions (Star Trek DS9) and films, as well as producing the web series, Riley Parra. She speaks to her personal experience of the frequent cross-over between the worlds of classical theatre and science fiction.

Our next book for Episode 3 (to be posted on Tuesday, October 2nd) will be The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet by Becky Chambers.
